Mt Rothwell, Vic
Application for an Exploration License EL006213, covering approx 63 km2 of territory west of Werribee Vic has been lodged with the Department of Earth Resources in Nov '15. This project will be known as Mt Rothwell.
Mt Rothwell program of work on the licence
Once Exploration Licence is granted, the following on-site testing and field work will be carried out:
- Revision of works carried out by previous licensee
- Geology 1:10,000
- Geochemical testing using MPF methodology(soil sampling)
- Soil sampling of approx 300 samples (surface sampling only to a depth of 30cm approx)
- Lab analysis and sample testing
- Geochemical investigation of the area
- Review of geochemical results and analysis of most perspective areas for detailed works.
All above works are classified as very low impact as far as land owners and occupiers. We will work in conjunction with land owners and will seek to minimise and impact on their current operations. Land owners and community will be consulted to ensure that exploratory works carried out by Geochem will not adversely impact landowners and community. This will be achieved through consultation and consideration of interests of all parties involved.
